What is mantrailing?
The word comes from English and is easy to explain: Man = man and Trailing = follow. In other words, following a human trail based on a scent object, specific to the person to be searched for, and offered to a dog. Trailing means that the dog must follow a specific trail in a natural way, regardless of the location, weather conditions and age of the trail. Every dog breed can trail but within the limits of the breed characteristics, it is and remains a fun activity for dogs and handlers.
